Information Culture In Higher Education: Criteria And Typology

Suggested definition of «information culture», considered the criteria for determining the level of information culture. Defined level of information culture in higher education in Poltava region, the degree of representation of each type of information culture in the university in general and specifically for each of the three categories of members of universities: the staff, teachers and students. Found that for service industries – universities, leading only one type of information culture: Rule-following. The definitions «value», «information» and «result» of each type of information culture for universities are characterized.

Green Tourism Development As A Factor Of Improving Of Social Sphere Of Cherkassy Region

The article analyzes the future development of green tourism in Cherkasy region. The priority economic impact of effective development of agricultural tourism in the region is highlighted. The rural green tourism is studied and singled out as one of the components of socio-economic revival of the village. It is mentioned that in Ukraine, rural green tourism is under development. An important factor in the emergence of Ukrainian agro market is that it’s building in a decentralized way - almost without central structures. This makes it possible to develop this type of business, taking into account the needs and problems of the rural population. It is determined that Cherkassy Region is one of the leaders in Ukraine for provision of resorts and recreational resources. Overviewed that an important condition for the future development of agricultural tourism activities in the Cherkasy region is the rational use and expanded reproduction and protection of natural recreational resources, effective use and update of the existing material and technical base, increasing the share produced in national income, the return of invested material and financial means; taking on a recreational market with the aim of the most complete services to meet the needs of the population in the rest and recovery. It is summarized that the regional rural green tourism can be an important factor in economic development and stability for districts of Cherkasy region, especially to those where it is impossible to effectively develop agriculture or other activities.

The article casts light onto the EU tax policy and the growing impact of integration upon it. The author studies the national features and tendencies of tax convergence in the United Europe over the period from 1995 to 2008 in order to establish the effects of integration on tax governance in the EU countries. Regarding the EU tax policy, a study of the processes taking place before (at the early stage) of the financial and economic crisis is no less relevant than the analysis of new tax developments. The author explores the dynamics of average taxation in the countries of EU-6, EU-15, ECA-17, and the new EU member states.

The National And Regional Markets For Services In Ukraine: Are We Approaching Europe?

The article analyses the national and regional markets for services in Ukraine in statics and dynamics. The diagnostics was performed from the standpoint of structural transformation of the markets exhibiting deep qualitative changes. Empirical assessment corroborated that Ukraine’s economy and its regions acquire attributes of servicization, which generally corresponds with tendencies in the development of European markets for services. The authors identify impediments to activation of structural transformation on the national and regional services markets, which is necessary to satisfy the EU criteria and facilitate the European integration of Ukraine.
